According to a news release, the man was unclothed and exposed himself while in the vehicle. The victim walked away and was followed by the vehicle until she ran, the news release states. Police said the victim’s mother reported the incident.

Patrol officers were canvassing the area Sunday as detectives worked with the police department’s Crime Center to review surveillance cameras from nearby businesses and residents, the release states. It’s believed the suspect may have been in the area of the 7-11 on Summerlin Avenue prior to the incident, police said.

Photos of a blue vehicle are circulating on social media, police added, but investigators say the vehicle pictured in the posts has not been confirmed to be what the suspect was driving. The specific model of car was not known at the time of this report.

Should the vehicle or suspect be located, they are not to be approached and the police are to be called immediately, the release advises.

Police urged anyone with information that can help locate the suspect to call 911, or to submit a tip anonymously to Crimeline at 1-800-423-8477.
