WATCH AGAIN: SpaceX rocket launch lights up Florida’s Space Coast

Starlink mission blasts off at 1:17 a.m.

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – SpaceX launched another batch of Starlink internet satellites early Friday from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The satellites were launched atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex 40.

The rocket lifted off at 1:17 a.m.

SpaceX pushed the launch back several times throughout the night. The liftoff happened near the end of the launch window.

The first-stage of the Falcon 9 landed on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean several minutes after liftoff. SpaceX said this is the ninth flight for the first-stage booster being used in this mission.

The launch comes days after SpaceX launched 22 Starlink satellites.
